There is a lot of press about the Corona virus and the dangers it represents. The markets have been volatile and the Fed has reduced the interest rates to try and calm some of the market fear, panic, and volatility. Fortunately most people stay calm in the face of adversity and tension. What can one do when confronted with something as mysterious as a new bug, disease, or illness? I am an advocate for kindness and washing your hands.
The best defense against the spread of the virus and many other illnesses is to wash your hands. Practice that one simple act of protection. Protection for you, your family, and everyone you come in contact with. Also, I often carry packets of tissues, I offer them to people who seem to have the sniffles, or a cough. No judgement, just a simple act of kindness. I keep a bottle of hand sanitizer on my desk and also a box of tissues. Right next to the candy jar.
I do believe there will be a cure for the Corona Virus. Hopefully soon. In the meantime we can all help each other by washing our hands. keeping calm, and practicing random acts of kindness.
